First Principles of the Timothian Model

First Principles of the Timothian Model lays out the non-negotiable rules that everything else must obey.  No action at a distance, only local interactions through a real chunk medium.  Newtonian mechanics at all scales. Absolute time with process rates modulated by medium conditions. And all “forces” recast as pressure, flow, and stratification effects in that medium.

It defines what counts as a valid explanation in this framework—what’s allowed, what’s explicitly rejected, and how every later issue must trace its claims back to these mechanical foundations.

The Nature of Space

This issue contains the Operating System of the Universe's medium in this model, using only Newton's Laws and the Timothian Model's First Principles.

Building on the degrees of freedom provided by Chunk Species properties and variability, this paper deduces the Chunk Medium's Properties, such as  how aggregate pressures and flows would interact with individual chunks and atomic matter.

From medium properties, the Chunk Medium's Processes are similarly deduced using the same logic.

The medium's processes provide the necessary mechanics to underpin atoms, oscillations, bulk flows, fields, and the interactions between them, providing physical mechanisms that operate gravity, light, magnetism, and nuclear forces.

Here, gravity stops being a mysterious “attraction at a distance” and becomes a restoration push from a displaced medium.

Time doesn’t “flow.” Clocks do.
 

In the Timothian Model, time is absolute and universal—but clock rates change because every tick is real mechanical work inside a real medium.

This paper replaces “time dilation” with rate modulation: motion, load, stratification, and pathway limits change the cost of each cycle, so different clocks legitimately disagree without time itself changing. You’ll also get a mechanical explanation for synchronization, simultaneity, and the arrow of time as monotone equalization toward homogeneity.
